What is meant by social innovation? Where are the strongest ecosystems to support social innovators? And how have communities supported changemakers to translate dreams into impactful action?

This panel will feature global models of social innovation and discuss them in the context of Palestine. The goal is to identify opportunities to ignite the ecosystem in Palestine, while also embracing what makes the case of Palestine unique.

Adnane Addioui is an Ashoka Fellow, social commentator, social entrepreneur and disruptive thinker, who has committed his life to work in the MENA region, particularly Morocco, enabling creative thinking, entrepreneurship and innovation for the common good. He has co-founded the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship where he currently serves as Chief Visionary. He is the former Country Director for Enactus Morocco, a World Bank-IMF Fellow, and an active member of the Junior Chamber International. World Traveller, loves training and facilitation with a touch of simplicity and critical thinking.

عدنان العديوي زميل لاشوكا يعمل كمعلق وريادي اعمال اجتماعي ومفكر ابداعي. قام عدنان بتكريس حياته للعمل في بلدان الشرق الاوسط وشمال افريقيا وتحديدا المغرب, حيث انه يركز على تمكين التفكير الابداعي و ريادة الاعمال والابتكار من أجل خدمة الصالح العام. شارك عدنان في تأسيس المركز المغربي للبداع و المقاولة المجتمعية والابتكار وعمل فيه الان بمنصب رئيس….. عمل السيد عدنان كمدير سابق لشركة “اناكتوس المغرب” و كزميل للبنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي وكما انه عضو نشط في الرابطة الدولية للغرف التجارية الصغيرة, محب للسفر حول العالم , محب للتدريب والتيسير متبعاً اضافة لمساته من البساطة والتفكير النقدي.
